What it checks
- Size: Apple lists a 1024x1024 layout size for Mac icons.
- Shape: Apple now asks for square, unmasked artwork and rounds the corners itself. A file with rounded corners drawn in and transparent padding is the older Mac style.
- Padding and corners: if your file has transparent edges, we measure each margin and estimate the corner radius. We compare those with the older Mac template as it is commonly measured, about 824 of 1024 pixels with corners near 185 pixels. Apple's current page does not state those numbers, so treat them as a guide.
