Our rules
Short enough to read.
The order
Launch order comes from votes. Category order comes from our most recent checks. Paying changes neither.
The review
Sponsors get the same check, at the same speed. An app that fails can't buy a place.
The label
Paid rows always say "Sponsored", on every page, and links are marked that way for search engines.
The numbers
Our traffic is public, so you can judge the price first.
What gets in
Mac apps that run on macOS, from the Mac App Store or the maker's own site. Downloads must be signed and notarized. Screenshots must be real. The app must open and do what it says.
Starter picks
We added a few apps ourselves to get started, and they say Check pending until a person has opened them. Makers can ask us to change or remove a listing at hello@macpip.com. Clacky is made by the people behind MacPip, and its page says so.
If we say no
We tell you why on your status page, so you can fix it and try again.
Votes
One vote per app from each network. Counts stay hidden for the first 12 hours of a launch day. We remove launches that buy votes, and we say so.
Your link
Every listing gets a normal followed link to your site. No badge needed, no vote target.
